“We are all struggling with COVID-19 in our own way. But it is developing a new strength in all of us. We are all being challenged and that’s inevitable. Being defeated is optional. The Thompson Center on Lourdes is not going to be defeated. We are going to conquer and be stronger because our mission and our family of participants need us.”

Federal Stimulus Aid Package – BEWARE of SCAMMERS!
To help prevent people falling for scams surrounding the newly approved stimulus package, the FBI has issued a warning to Americans; “While talk of economic stimulus checks has been in the news cycle, government agencies are not sending unsolicited emails seeking your private information in order to send you money,” the FBI said in its post. The Justice Department has opened a hotline for any scams related to COVID-19 and has already taken action against fraudulent cases tied to the disease. Other scams the FBI has warned about include fake cures, fake charities and hackers posing as health officials from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or the World Health Organization.
